Helping Scholars Write Books People Want to Read

Hello! I’m a writer, editor, and historian. My work has appeared in Smithsonian Magazine, The Atlantic, The Cut, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and elsewhere. 

As an editor, I work with faculty, independent scholars, and peer-reviewed journals in history, anthropology, area studies, political science, and psychology, as well as art, dance, music, and literature. I’m a developmental editor, which means I help writers strengthen structure and argument and refine voice and style. I’m also happy to see a project through to the final polish.
