Hello! I’m a writer, book editor, and historian. My work has appeared in Smithsonian Magazine, The Atlantic, The Cut, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and elsewhere. I work with faculty, independent scholars, and peer-reviewed journals in history, literature, area studies, anthropology, art, dance, political science, and other social sciences as a developmental editor and proofreader. I also work as a coach, helping scholars around the world hone their ideas and finish books and other projects. I’ve taught classes for academics looking to write for the public.
